We collect only what's needed to make the app work: your email and the data you log about your baby. We don't sell your data. We don't share it with advertisers. You can export it or delete your account at any time.
01What we collect
Two things, both kept on our servers:
- Your email address (so you can sign in with a one-time code)
- The data you log: feeds, nappies, weight, notes, baby names, dates of birth
02What we don't collect
We don't collect your name, address, phone number, or location beyond what you choose to enter. The PooPeeMilk iOS app contains no advertising SDKs and no behavioural tracking. The marketing website (poopeemilk.com) does use Google Analytics to understand which articles are useful — see Section 4 for what that involves and how it's limited to the website.
03How we use your data
Strictly to make the app work. The data you log about your baby is shown only to you and to the caregivers you've invited. We don't market to you, and we don't sell your data. Aggregate website traffic data from Google Analytics is used only to see which articles are useful to readers — it never includes the contents of your account or your baby's data.
04Where your data lives
On servers operated by Railway in the European Union, in a PostgreSQL database. Backups are encrypted. Email delivery is through Resend — your email address is shared with them when we send you a sign-in code, or, if you've opted in to launch updates on the website, to keep you on that list. Subscription management is handled by RevenueCat: they receive an anonymous app user ID and the App Store transaction data from Apple needed to verify your subscription. RevenueCat does not receive your email or any data about your baby. The marketing website uses Google Tag Manager (provided by Google Ireland Limited) to load Google Analytics and, if you've opted in, advertising tags from Google, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), and TikTok so we can measure which articles are useful and reach interested parents with follow-up ads. These tools may set cookies and process your IP address, browser, country, and pages viewed. They do not have access to your account, your email, or any data you've logged in the app. You can change or withdraw your choices at any time using the Cookie settings link in the website footer.
05Your rights
You can, at any time:
- Export your data as a PDF (Settings → Export PDF)
- Edit or delete any individual entry
- Delete your entire account from Settings — this removes all your data permanently within 30 days
- Email us at hello@poopeemilk.com for any other request
06Caregivers and shared babies
When you invite a caregiver, they get access to log and view data for the babies you share. They cannot rename, delete, or invite others. You can revoke their access at any time, which immediately removes their visibility into your data.
07Children's data
PooPeeMilk is for parents and caregivers. The data is about babies, but the account holder must be an adult (16+ in the EU, 13+ elsewhere). We do not knowingly collect data from people under that age.
08Changes to this policy
If we materially change how we handle data, we'll email account holders at least 14 days before any change takes effect.
